Hernando County Sheriff’s Office Hosting “Coffee with a Cop” October 1st

The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office is inviting residents to join deputies for coffee and conversation during an upcoming community event.

The “Coffee with a Cop” gathering will take place on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Target, 4401 Commercial Way in Spring Hill.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the event provides an opportunity for residents to meet local deputies in an informal setting, ask questions, and share concerns about issues in the community.

Organizers say the program is designed to strengthen relationships between law enforcement and the public by creating space for open dialogue outside of emergency situations or official calls for service.

The Sheriff’s Office has encouraged community members of all ages to attend.
